World Book Day 2022
It has been an amazing World Book Day at Carterhatch Junior School. The theme this year was 'You are a Reader'. The children looked amazing in their costumes.
As well as an assembly with the author Sita Brahmachari where she told the children about her writing journey from childhood to adulthood, the children celebrated the day with a range of activities in their classes – art, poetry, planting sunflower seeds, creating comic strips based on a character from their library book and writing interviews.
Thank you for all your support in making the day special. Staff looked fabulous dressed up in an array of characters.
