Year 4 visit Tate Britain and the Science Museum

Year 4 pupils have been very busy with two trips into London

Tate Britain

Last year, pupils of Year 4 were involved in a special photography exhibition called 'The Year 3 Project' which was designed by the famous film director, Steve McQueen.  Over 1,000 schools had their photos taken, with over 72,000 Year 3 pupils featured in the project.  Each Year 4 class went to Tate Britain Art Museum and were able to find their class photos amongst the pictures taken.

Science Museum

As part of our science curriculum, we visited the Wonderlab at the Science Museum.  The Wonderlab is filled with hands on activities and gave the pupils the opportunity to discover through play and experimentation.  We learned all about how sound is made, how light travels, friction and its impact on us and much, much more.
