We believe in an inclusive and creative curriculum which develops a life-long love of learning and celebrates equality and diversity.  We pride ourselves on pupils having a voice.  Pupils feel listened to, valued, respected and empowered.  

We focus on high quality teaching and learning, which centres on providing our pupils with the skills and knowledge to live safe, healthy and fulfilling lives. 

Our core values of Respect, Responsibility and Resilience are incorporated into our long-term plans.  This encourages pupils to acknowledge how important they are in guiding their daily actions and helping them to build character and self-control.   Our pupils are introduced to gardening, outdoor learning, CALMA, yoga and mentoring. A dedicated classroom designed for Science and the Arts is now established as well as an dedicated outdoor learning classroom. 

The school’s curriculum, based largely on the National Curriculum, aims to provide an integrated framework for learning, designed to draw upon the many different learning experiences open to pupils.  It relies on making connections between curriculum areas and supports pupils to transfer and apply their learning. Our curriculum is underpinned by the principles and aims of the Connect Education Trust. 

Events, visits and trips out of school take advantage of London’s world class museums and galleries.   Themed weeks give pupils outcome-based learning experiences combining Subjects across the curriculum, including Money Week. Events throughout the year focus on pupils ambitions, career paths and choices, working in partnership with Primary Futures. 

Parent curriculum newsletters are issued at the beginning of every term which detail the learning for each year group.
