Remote Learning
We have a clear vision and approach to remote education which is clearly articulated in our Remote Learning Guidelines. We provide all our pupils with a Chromebook, as part of the Connect Education Trust initiative, and support families with internet connectivity where necessary.
We use Google Classroom for remote learning. Following our tiered approach to remote learning, the pupils are provided with a daily programme of learning, reflecting their usual school timetable. Lessons comprise a combination of live lessons (with their teacher via Google Meet), pre-recorded lessons, activities and tasks to be completed and uploaded via Google Classroom or on our learning platforms such as MyMaths and SeeSaw. We also draw on high quality lessons available from Oak Academy, BBC Bitesize, White Rose and other sources.
