Carterhatch School Parliament
We pride ourselves on pupils having a voice through our School Parliament. Pupils feel
listened to, valued, respected and empowered. Our Parliament plays an important role in
the life of the school providing a forum for:
- pupil voice
- seeing democracy in action
- taking an active part in school improvement
- learning how to be responsible citizens in our community
All classes vote for their Members of Parliament. They are responsible for collecting the
views and issues from their peers. They meet the Headteacher regularly and help lead in-
school events, such as the summer talent show, family assemblies, and weekly success assemblies.
